Essential Growth Classes

Are you growing in your relationship with God?  What steps do you need to take in order to deepen your love for God?

 

A starting point may be to take a class that will help you better understand the essential truths of the Bible, and help you apply those truths to your life.  Essential Growth Classes teach principles that will assist you in knowing how to grow and develop as a believer in Jesus Christ.

 

These classes are scheduled on Sunday mornings so that you can still experience our Corporate Worship service and also take one of these classes without the need to be out another night of the week.

Upcoming Essential Growth Classes

 

"God Provides" - This 6-week, DVD based Crown Ministries class, helps you see God's faithfulness through His constant provision for His people throughout history.  This class will challenge and encourage you, as you see God's love played out before your eyes.  Cost for this class is $6 for the class materials.

  • June 13 - July 25 during the 9:00 AM service time


Managing Our Finances God's Way - Through this 7-week, DVD based Crown Ministries class, you will find the help to learn what the Bible says about finances, possessions, spending, giving, saving, managing debt and enjoying what God has given you. Cost for this class is $15 for the class materials.

• August 23 - October 3 during the 9:00 AM service time

  

Welcome to Shiloh & Church Membership Class - This 4-week class will give you an overview of the history, purpose, structure, direction and beliefs of the church.  This class will also help you discover your fit within our local church and the Body of Christ.  If you are new to Shiloh or want to become a member of the church, this class is for you. 

  • September 12 - October 3 during the 9:00 AM service time
  • October 31 - November 21 during the 10:45 service time

 

30 Days to Understanding the Bible - Are you lost and confused when you read the Bible?  Do you think you read the same thing over and over again?  Then sign up and be part of "30 Days to Understanding the Bible."  This 6-week class will help you gain a better understanding of the Bible's structure and make personal Bible reading more fruitful. Cost for this class is $15 for the class materials.

• October 10 - November 14 during the 9:00 AM service time

 

"Your Money Map" - Through this 6-week, Crown Ministries class, you will find the help to move out of financial bondage and towards financial freedom.  It is God's desire that we use all that He has blessed us with in generous living.  This class will help you on your way.  Cost for this class is $15 for the class materials.

• October 10 - November 14 during the 9:00 AM service time

 

Mvelopes - This 3-week class will teach you how to use Crown Ministries' "Mvelopes" to develop and follow a usable budget.  This simple, web-based tool is for people of all income levels and will help you live within your means as you follow your personal budget.  

• November 21 - December 12 during the 9:00 AM service time

 

Seed Projects - This 4-week class will help you discover how to identify ways to serve your community utilizing the contacts and interests that you already have. This class will help you show God's love to the world as you reach out in love to those around you.

On Earth as it is in Heaven - This 13-week class will teach you how to view the world as God views it.  God has called us to proclaim His Kingdom as Christ prayed in the Lord's Prayer.  After this class you will never look at the world or those around you in the same way.
